Coming In From The Cold
04:31
|
|||
Chorus:
In this life, in this life
In this life
In this, oh, sweet life we're coming in from the cold
We're coming in, (Coming in), coming in, (Coming in)
Coming in, (Coming in), coming in (Coming in)
Coming in from the cold
Verse:
It's you, it's you
It's you I'm talking to
Well, you, you, you I'm talking to now
Why do you look so sad and forsaken?
When one door is closed
Don't you know another is open?
Would you let the system make you kill your brotherman?
No, dread, no
Would you make the system make you kill your brotherman?
No, dread, no
Would you let the system get on top your head again?
No, dread, no
Well, the biggest man you ever did see once
Was just a baby
Repeat Chorus ad lib
Repeat Verse ad lib
Repeat Chorus ad lib and fade

Real Situation
03:08
|
|||
Check out the real situation
Nation war against nation
Where did it all begin?
When will it end?
Chorus:
(Well) it seems like total destruction
The only solution
And there ain't no use
No one can stop them now
Ain't no use
No one (Nobody) can stop them now
Give them an inch they take a yard
Give them a yard they take a mile
Once a man and twice a child
And everything is just for a while
Repeat Chorus
Check in the real situation
Nation fights against the nation
Where did it all begin? Where will it end?
Repeat Chorus ad-lib and fade

Bad Card
02:50
|
|||
You a-go tired to see me face
You can't get me out of the race
Oh, man, you said I'm in your place
And then you draw bad card
I'll make you draw bad card
And then you draw bad card
Propaganda spreading over my name
Say you want to bring another life to shame
Oh, man, you're just a-playing a game
And then you draw bad card
I'll make you draw bad card
I'll make you draw bad card
I want to disturb my neighbor
'Cause I'm feeling so right
I want to turn up my disco
Blow them to full watts tonight
In a rub-a-dub style
In a rub-a-dub style
In a rub-a-dub style
In a rub-a-dub style
'Cause we guarding the palace so majestic
Guarding the palace so realistic
Them a-go tired to see me face
You say they can't get me out of the race
Oh, man, it's just a big disgrace
The way you draw bad card
The way you make wrong moves
The way you draw bad card
I'll make you draw bad card
I'll make you draw bad card
In a rub-a-dub style, rub-a-dub style

We and Them
03:14
|
|||
Chorus:
We no know
How we and them a go work this out
We no know
How we and them a go work this out
But someone will have to pay
For the innocent blood
That they shed every day
Oh, children, mark my word
It's what the Bible said, yeah yeah
Repeat Chorus
But in the beginning
Jah created everything
Giving man dominion over all things
But now it's too late
You see, men has lost their faith
Eating up all the flesh from off the earth
Repeat Chorus
No, we no know
Repeat Chorus
But we now have no friends
In a high society
We no have no friends
Oh, mark my identity
We no have no friends. Oh-oh.
Repeat Chorus and fade

Zion Train
03:36
|
|||
Chorus:
Zion train is coming our way
The Zion train is coming our way
Oh, people, get on board
Thank the Lord
I got to catch this train
'Cause there's no other station
Then you're going in the same direction
Repeat Chorus
Which man can save his brother's soul?
(Save your brother's soul)
Oh man, it's just self control
Don't gain the world and lose your soul
(Just don't lose your soul)
Wisdom is better than silver and gold
Oh, where there's a will
There's always a way
Where there's a will
There's always a way, way, way, way
Soul train is coming our way
The Zion train is coming our way
2,000 years of history
Could not be not wiped away so easily
2,000 years of history
(Black history)
Could not be not wiped so easily
Repeat Chorus and fade

Pimper's Paradise
03:27
|
|||
She loves to party
Have a good time
She looks so hearty, feeling fine
She loves to smoke
Sometime shifting coke
She'll be laughing when there ain't no joke
Chorus:
A pimper's paradise
That's all she wants now
A pimper's paradise
That's all she was
A pimper's paradise
That's all she wants now
Pimper's paradise, that's all she was
Every need got an ego to feed
Every need got an ego to feed
She loves to model up in the latest fashion
She's in the scramble
And she moves with passion
She's getting high
Trying to fly the sky
Now she is bluesing when there ain't no blues
Repeat Chorus
Every need got an ego to feed
Every need got an ego to feed
Repeat Chorus ad-lib and fade

Could You Be Loved
03:57
|
|||
Chorus:
Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved and be loved?
Don't let them fool you
Or even try to school you
Oh, no
We've got a mind of our own
So go to hell if what you're thinking is not right
Love would never leave us alone
In the darkness there must come out to light
Repeat Chorus
The road of life is rocky
And you may stumble too
So while you point your fingers
Someone else is judging you
Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?
Don't let them change you
Or even rearrange you
Oh, no
We have one life to live
Because they say
Only, only
Only the fittest of the fittest shall survive
Stay alive
Repeat Chorus
You ain't gonna miss your water
Until your well runs dry;
No matter how you treat him
The man will never be satisfied
Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?
Say something, say something (repeat and fade out)

Forever Loving Jah
04:02
|
|||
Chorus:
We'll be forever loving Jah
We'll be forever loving Jah
Some they say see them walking up the street
They say we're going wrong to all the people we meet
But we won't worry
We won't shed no tears
We found a way to cast away the fears
Repeat Chorus
Forever, yes, and forever there'll no end
So, old man river, don't cry for me
I've got a running stream of love you see
So, no matter what stages, oh stages
Stages, stages they put us through
We'll never be blue
No matter what rages
Oh, rages, changes, rages they put us through
We'll never be blue
Repeat Chorus
Forever and ever
Yes, and forever, 'cause there's no end
'Cause only a fool lean upon
Lean upon his own misunderstanding
And then what has been hidden
From the wise and the prudent
Been revealed to the babe and the suckling
In everything, in every way, I say
Repeat Chorus
'Cause just like a tree planted
Planted by the rivers of water
That bringeth forth fruits
Bringeth forth fruits in due season
Everything in life got its purpose
Find its reason in every season
Repeat Chorus
